From 24 November, the "Christkindlmärkte", as they are known in these parts, once again exude their magic and remain open until 6 January.
Whether Bruneck, Sterzing, Klausen or Brixen - all Christmas markets are not far from the Masl, inspire with their very own charm and have wonderful events in store for their visitors. We reveal what you can expect in Bressanone/Brixen this year.
The Christmas market in Bressanone/Brixen:
- A window every day: At the Christmas market, a window of the Advent calendar on the theme of peace is opened every day.
- Light & Music Show: As in previous years, the Hofburg once again awaits you with a highlight this year. "COLORS. A Homage to Peace" will enchant the audience with impressive light and music effects on the theme of peace (daily at 5.30 and 6.30 pm, Fridays and Saturdays also at 7.30 pm).
- Devotional: During Advent, the Rorate takes place daily at 06:30 in Brixen Cathedral.
- For the 800th anniversary: The nativity scene exhibition in Bressanone Cathedral shows various nativity scenes.
- Delicacies from the fireplace: Various delicacies are served at the open fireplace in the afternoon for young and old to savour.
