Surrounded by a spectacular crown of mountains, Valles is nestled quitely just off the Puster Valley. The Valles-Jochtal e Maranza-Gitschberg skiing and holiday area is the largest of its kind in South Tyrol, with over 30 Alpine farms and mountain huts, as well as the Malga Fane Alpine village. This enchanting area overlooks the Puster and Eisack valleys, offering breathtaking views of the Dolomites and Aurin Alps.
Thanks to favourable location at the heart of South Tyrol, in a matter of minutes you may reach Rio di Pusteria, with its many shopping opportunities. Also located not far from Valles and Rio di Pusteria are Bressanone and Brunico, Bolzano with its Archaeology Museum, home to the Otzi the Iceman, Castel Rodengo and many interesting museums.
