The Monteneve mine is located in the Passiria and Ridanna valleys. It was the largest lead and zinc mine in the Tyrol region. Formerly one of Europe’s highest mines in terms of altitude and one of the most productive in the Alps, it has now been turned into a tourist attraction offering many guided tours and excursions.
